Why moderation
To protect tenants and owners alike, the platform analyses public listings and gives each a risk score from 0 to 100. From 35 the listing is suspicious, from 70 fraud is likely. Administrators review the reports and decide.
What is analysed
- Photos: a photo already used by another owner is the strongest signal; stock-photo metadata, GPS position far from the unit, all photos in low resolution.
- The listing: rent far below comparable listings, scam wording (payment before visit, money transfer, owner abroad…), contact details in the text, copied description.
- The account: phone shared with other owners, very recent account, unconfirmed email.
Avoiding a false alert
Use your own photos (with their camera data), a rent consistent with the market, a description written by you, a confirmed email and a phone number of your own. See Link photos and videos to a unit.
Listing removed by moderation
When an administrator confirms fraud, the unit shows Listing removed by moderation: it disappears from the catalogue and cannot be republished. If you think it is a mistake, contact support to have the listing reviewed.
