The steps
- Discovery: find a listing (search and compare) and create an email alert if needed;
- Application: send your file to the landlord;
- Review: the landlord compares files and may ask you for documents;
- Decision: acceptance or refusal, always made by a person;
- Lease signing: contract drawn up from the home's data, with e-signature if the landlord uses it;
- Move-in: inspection and key handover;
- Living there: rent, receipts and documents in your tenant space.
Sending your application
On a long-term listing, click Apply with my file (sign-in required). The page summarises rent, charges and your effort rate, then you choose:
- the documents to share (ticked one by one);
- whether to share your reliability score (optional);
- a message to the landlord.
Following your application
In I am a tenant › My tenant file, My applications section, each application shows its status: Sent, Under review, Documents requested, Accepted, Not selected or Withdrawn, and its history. You are notified by email of each decision or document request.
Answering a document request
If the landlord asks for a document, a banner says so. First add it to your file (My supporting documents section), then click Share this document in the application. The landlord can only request documents from the permitted list.
Withdrawing your application
Click Withdraw my application: the landlord immediately loses access to your documents. The same applies when your application is not selected. A closed application is deleted after 90 days.
Accepted application
The landlord creates your lease from your file: your identity, contact details and move-in date are pre-filled, without re-typing. You become an active tenant on the platform: find your rent, receipts and documents in your tenant space, and your reliability score starts to build up.
