Principles
- Single purpose: assessing your applications to homes. Your data is neither sold nor used for advertising.
- Minimisation: only useful information and documents are requested, within the legal list.
- Chosen sharing: for each application, you tick the documents shared and decide whether to share your reliability score.
- No automated decision: neither the score nor the effort rate refuses or accepts a file.
Who sees what?
| Information | Who can see it |
|---|---|
| Your file (profile, documents) | Only you |
| Profile sent in an application | The owner(s) of the targeted listing |
| Ticked documents | The listing's owner, while the application is open or accepted; each view is logged |
| Reliability score | You; a landlord only if you share it in an application |
Retention
- Closed application (refused, withdrawn or accepted): deleted automatically 90 days after the decision.
- Your tenant file: kept in your space until you delete it.
- End-of-lease reviews and payments: kept with the lease, like other rental management data.
Exporting or deleting your data
- Export: from your profile, the data export now includes your tenant file, applications and email alerts, with your documents.
- Delete the file: in My tenant file › My data and rights, type SUPPRIMER to erase your file, documents and applications.
- Withdraw an application or delete a document: the landlord's access is cut immediately.
- Deleting your account also erases the file and alerts.
Your rights
You have a right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction. You may contest a landlord review (reliability score). For any request, write to the address in the legal notice; you may also contact your country's data protection authority (the CNIL in France).
If a landlord asks too much
The permitted documents are listed in My tenant file. A landlord cannot require bank statements, a health card, a criminal record, etc. You may refuse and report the request to us.
