Referral programme: invite others and earn free months

Enjoying SmartLife Properties? Invite other landlords: each person who signs up with your code and subscribes to a paid plan for at least one year earns you 1 free month, and they get 1 free month too. Every 12 referees subscribed to the same plan, you also receive a promo code for that plan, to use or to give away.

Open your account menu at the top right of the console, then Referral (below Profile, Settings and Plan and subscription). Your code is created automatically on your first visit, for example PAU7K2QX: it is personal and does not change.

• Copy the code: to share it verbally or by message.
• Invitation link: a sign-up address that pre-fills your code; share it via WhatsApp, email or your phone's share button.

Your referee signs up for free from your link (the code is already filled in) or by entering your code in the Referral code field of the sign-up form. An unknown code is flagged before the account is created, and you cannot use your own code. The code is entered at sign-up only: an existing account cannot be linked to a referrer afterwards. From sign-up, your referee appears on your Referral page with the status Registered, waiting for a one-year subscription.

The referral is validated only by your referee's first subscription that meets both conditions:

• a duration of at least 12 months (yearly payment or more);
• a price above 0: a free subscription, for example with a 100% promo code, does not validate the referral.

A shorter (monthly) subscription does not validate it, but nothing is lost: the referral stays pending and will be validated by the first one-year subscription. The reward is given only once per referee, whether the subscription is paid online (PayPal) or validated by our team.

On validation:

• your referee gets 1 month added to the subscription they just took, on top of the usual yearly discount (see the plans);
• you, the referrer, get 1 month: it is added immediately to your subscription if you have a paid plan; if you are on the Free plan, it is set aside and added automatically to your next paid subscription.

The top of the Referral page shows the number of free months earned and pending months.

The Referral page shows:

• counters: registered referees, subscribed referees, months earned, pending months;
• the list of your referees: name, partially masked email (for example cl****@example.com), sign-up date, status (Registered, waiting… or Subscribed on …), subscribed plan and month earned;
• the count of subscribed referees per plan, with a progress bar towards the next milestone.

If you were referred yourself, a reminder tells you whether your free month has been added.

Each time you reach 12 referees subscribed to the same plan (then 24, 36…), a promo code is created for that plan, for example PARRAIN_2_K7QX2:

• it gives 100% off for 12 months of that plan, i.e. one year free;
• it can be shared: use it yourself, or give it to another account (a relative, a fellow landlord…) by simply passing on the code, for example with the Give button; it is usable only once, whichever account uses it, and is never advertised publicly;
• it is valid for 12 months from its creation.

Counters are kept separately for each plan: 12 Standard referees give a Standard code, 12 Premium referees a Premium code. Your codes appear under the plan concerned, with their status (Available, Used or Expired) and a copy button. To use one, simply enter it in Plan and subscription, in the promo code field, from your account or the account you gave it to.
