The principle
Every month Booking.com emails “Booking.com Invoice number” with the invoice as a PDF. If that email reaches the platform's mailbox, the invoice is read and recorded automatically on the right unit, as if you had imported it by hand (see Sync your calendars…, section “Track platform payments and fees”).
Your redirection address
In Profile > Information, the Redirection address section shows an address like
immo…@my-smartlife.fr, specific to your account. Messages sent to it are redirected to the platform's mailbox. If it does not exist yet, click Create my address.Setting up the forwarding
- In Booking.com, give your redirection address as the invoice recipient (or forward the invoice email you received in your own mailbox).
- The subject must start with the rental ID in square brackets:
[25] Booking.com Invoice 1665744733. Add this prefix with a rule in your mail client (forward with subject change) or by forwarding by hand. The ID is shown on the rental's card in My rentals. - The invoice PDF must be attached.
What is checked
- The message's recipient is the redirection address of an owner of the rental named in the subject.
- The subject's invoice number matches the PDF, which must be a readable Booking.com invoice.
- The unit is found within that rental: by the Booking property ID already recorded, else by a name identical to the unit's title, else, if there is a single seasonal unit not yet linked, by default. Fill in the property ID in the unit's Platforms section to make matching reliable.
- An invoice already recorded (same platform, same number) is never added twice.
What you get
The invoice appears in the unit's Platforms: calendars, IDs, payments and fees: sales counted as collected, commission and fees as expenses, PDF viewable, and included in the accounting report annexes.
If the invoice does not appear
- Check the subject (
[ID]at the start) and the PDF attachment. - A message without a rental ID or sent to another address is refused.
- If several units match or none does, the invoice is kept “unmatched”: import it by hand on the unit concerned.
- The mailbox is read regularly (every 30 minutes): wait before concluding it failed.
